Get paid to record the work you already do.
AI companies need first-person video of real skilled work: framing, roofing, wiring, plumbing, finish carpentry and more. We match Utah tradespeople and job sites with paid footage programs and help you understand the terms before you start.
Paid footage programs, in plain terms
- Programs pay individual workers or whole crews to wear a small camera during normal work.
- Pay is set by each program in writing before you start, usually by accepted hours of footage. We do not promise amounts.
- The program pays you directly. Ask us how it works.
- Nothing is recorded without the site owner's permission and the consent of everyone on camera.
- You can stop at any time. Safety rules always come first.

Hay programas que pagan a trabajadores y cuadrillas por grabar su trabajo normal con una cámara pequeña. Cada programa fija su pago por escrito y le paga directamente. Pregúntenos cómo funciona.
Wear a camera, do your normal work
Programs differ by buyer, but most follow the same pattern.
-
Sign up
Tell us your trade, your experience and where you work. We match you with programs looking for that kind of work.
-
Get set up
The program supplies or specifies a head or chest camera and explains exactly what to record.
-
Record your work
Do the job the way you normally would. No acting, no scripts. Upload footage the way the program asks.
-
Get paid
The program pays you directly under its own agreement, usually based on accepted hours of footage.
Experienced hands and active job sites
- Licensed or experienced tradespeople in any skilled trade
- Crews willing to have one or more members wear a camera
- General contractors and site owners willing to host recording on active jobs
- Shops and fabrication facilities
Host a program on your job
If you run job sites, programs may pay to record on them. You decide which sites, which days and which crews. Nothing is recorded without your sign-off and the consent of the people on camera.
The job comes before the footage
Follow site rules
OSHA requirements, site safety plans and your company's rules always come first. If a camera gets in the way of PPE or safe work, take it off.
Never work for the shot
Do not change how you do a task to get better footage. Programs want normal work done the normal, safe way.
Secure your gear
Mounts must not snag, obstruct vision or interfere with fall protection, hard hats or eye protection. Skip recording at heights or near hazards if the setup is not right.
What you record, and what you don't
Do
- Get the site owner's permission before recording
- Make sure coworkers on camera have agreed
- Point the camera at your hands and the work
- Read the program's agreement so you know how footage is used
Don't
- Record homeowners, customers or the public without consent
- Capture addresses, house numbers, plates, documents or screens
- Record inside occupied homes without written permission
- Record anything covered by a confidentiality agreement
Footage goes from you straight to the program under its agreement. Utah Data Partners does not collect or store your video. Pay rates and terms are set by each program; we help you compare them.
